Food Parcels
Food Parcel Days are held the first week of every month and we provide food parcels to widowed and brick maker families.
The widows and children come to the distribution center to receive their food parcels. During this time, we celebrate the children’s birthdays and they each receive a set of clothing as a gift. The widows have a chance to tell us about their other needs and we do all we can to assist them. Asher shares a word of encouragement and we pay the rickshaw the fees to take them home.
Clothing
We continue to provide our widows’ children with clothing on their birthdays.
We also send clothing to Pakistan and distribute it among the families at the brickyards. We buy shoes for brick makers’ children during the hot summer months. All the outfits made by our sewing school students are distributed among the children at the brickyards.
We pay for food parcel day from child sponsorship money and for every child sponsored, we can help a new family.
There are many families in need, waiting for support.
